As the weather gets colder and it remains darker during morning commutes, a reminder to go slow around school zones and pay attention to school buses. Always be prepared to stop for school buses. 🛑 Stop for a school bus with its flashing red lights activated and the stop-arm extended. 🛑 Stop at least 20 feet from a school bus. 🛑 Remain stopped until the stop-arm is retracted and the red lights are turned off.

At the School Board meeting on Tuesday, October 8, the School Board voted unanimously to direct Superintendent Pekel to develop a 2025-2026 general fund budget recommendation that includes reductions if the Ignite Student Learning referendum plan is not passed by voters on November 5, 2024. What happens if the 2024 RPS Referendum fails?
For our AwEA participants joining us on Friday for the movie, our new theatre location is CMX Cinema, 3450 East Circle Drive NE, Rochester. This month's movie is The Wild Robot, starting at 7 pm and ending at 8:45 pm. Our staff will be there with your tickets at 6:45 pm. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before the show time as you will not be allowed into the movie or concessions area until you have collected your ticket from the Community Education staff.
